Magical Brickout is a take on the classic Breakout concept with a twist. The player clears levels by bouncing a ball to destroy bricks, but here the ball starts in the middle of the screen and the bricks are arranged in a circular design surrounding the ball. Instead of controlling a paddle the player rotates the entire environment. That way, the ball generally bounces inwards and the player has to prevent the ball from leaving the screen on one of the sides. The game has a fantasy theme and it is set in the magic land Wondaria where an evil wizard turns fairies into bricks and uses them to build a fortress. A remaining fairy needs to free them by breaking the bricks with an enchanted orb.
